The mechanical lateral distal femoral angle (mLDFA) was defined as the angle formed by the line connecting the center of the femoral head and the center of the distal femoral epiphysis, and the knee joint line of the femur. The mechanical medial proximal tibial angle (mMPTA) was defined as the angle formed by the line connecting the center of the proximal tibial epiphysis and the center of the talar dome, and the knee joint line of the tibia.
