One patient in the eight-Plate™ group was younger than eight years at the time of surgery (7.9 years) and therefore was not included in the “8–10 years” age category. Additionally, four patients in the RigidTackTM group older than 18 years were not included in the “after treatment” categories, as they did not fit within the “17–18 years” age category
