Correction: Evaluation and testing of polymethylmetacrylic (PMMA) bone cements with admixed Amphotericin B

In Table 1 of this article, the powder data ‘30 g/0.8 g, 30 g/0.8 g, 100 g/2.66 g, 50 g/1.33 g’ under the heading ‘AmBisome® (powder/pure drug)’ were mistakenly listed in ‘g’ instead of ‘mg’. The corresponding data should read as ‘30 mg/0.8 g, 30 mg/0.8 g, 100 mg/2.66 g, 50 mg/1.33 g’.
The column headings ‘Amphotericin B (pure drug)’ has been changed to
‘Added pure Amphotericin B powder (active ingredient)’ and
‘AmBisome® (powder/pure drug)’ has been changed to
‘Added AmBisome® (1,33 g contains 50 mg pure amphotericin B powder (active ingredient/total amount of powder)’.
Both the incorrect and the corrected Table 1 are displayed below.

The corresponding data should read as ‘Palacos R + 30 mg AmBisome®, Palacos R + G + 30 mg AmBisome®, Palacos R + G + 100 mg AmBisome® and Copal G + C + 50 mg AmBisome®. Both the incorrect and the corrected Table 2 are displayed below.
